About

About me

I'm Hannah, a counsellor based in Northamptonshire, I offer calm and supportive counselling where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted just as you are.

I offer counselling online, face to face in two Northamptonshire locations, and walk and talk therapy outdoors, so you can choose the setting that feels most comfortable and supportive for you.

My approach is grounded in person centred and trauma-informed principles.   Therapy can give you the chance to slow down, reflect, and gain clarity about how you want to move forward. At your own pace, we can talk things through, explore your feelings, build confidence, and find a way forward that feels right. I can integrate creative therapies and CBT informed methods into our work together.

If this sounds like the kind of support you are looking for, I would love to hear from you. Together, we can explore what feels most important to you and what you need from therapy.  Reaching out can be the first step toward feeling clearer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.

How we can work together

walk & Talk

I offer traditional counselling in a private, welcoming space, where you can feel comfortable and at ease. You can choose between a peaceful countryside setting in Quinton (NN7), surrounded by nature, or a convenient space in Northampton town centre (NN1).

Outdoor therapy offers a chance to talk while enjoying gentle movement and the fresh air. It works much like regular therapy, but being in nature can help you feel calmer, more relaxed, and more able to open up. We’ll agree on a  location when you book.

Online

Secure video sessions, giving you the flexibility to connect from the comfort of your own space when meeting in person isn’t possible. Just like face-to-face therapy, these sessions are shaped around your needs.

My approach

I work mainly from a person‑centred approach, which focuses on building a supportive relationship where you can explore your feelings openly and safely. You lead the way and I walk alongside you.

When it feels helpful, I may also integrate CBT ideas. These can help us look at how your thoughts and behaviours affect how you feel, and offer practical strategies for coping with anxiety, low mood, or stress.   You don’t need to choose a model - we’ll work together in a way that feels right for you.
